A newborn baby generally photographs best at 4-6 days new, during this time newborns curl up easily, sleep more, and have that fresh newborn look. 10-20 days new is also a great time to do your newborn portraits. Although baby's looks have changed some, she has filled out more by now and may have those super cute baby rolls. This session should be done no later than 4-6 weeks so that the newborn look is preserved. Our goal at this stage of your baby's life is to capture the unique look of infancy. The focus is on the innocence and beauty of a tiny baby. We will show the small little fingers, toes, ears, and other small details.

Newborn baby sessions will take between 2-2.5 hours depending on feedings and changes. Sessions can be done in-studio, outdoors or both.
